When a US-based commercial developer needed a complete digital twin of a 14,500m² single-story supermarket, ViBIM delivered architectural, structural, and MEP models to LOD 300 over a ten-month engagement.

The project integrated two data sources that rarely agree on the first pass: high-density point cloud captures and a large set of 2D technical drawings. The supermarket spans seven distinct site volumes, each modeled independently before merging into one coordinated Revit file. This segmentation kept file sizes manageable and allowed parallel workstreams across disciplines.
ViBIM's team handled the full scope: architecture modeling from scan data, structural modeling including foundation systems embedded in walls, and dense MEP routing through commercial kitchen and retail zones. A notable detail: the client required the use of pre-established Revit families. When existing families did not match the scan geometry, ViBIM created new ones on demand rather than forcing a bad fit. This family library management alone saved weeks of rework downstream.
